Will backups be independant of the installed software, that is if I lose the software will the back ups still be viable? If not make it so that back ups are executables.

backup programs need to be portable and include ability to restore from an external drive in case of a hard drive failure

Add a network mode that enables the user to back up all of their network computers from one workstation. This would enable users to consolidate and manage all their backups for all computers from one location, thus saving time

Include a fully featured help section with links to video tutorials.

I like the present help system (i.e. when you select a category it gives you help on that specific area, but a fully featured help document should also be accessible. Video tutorials would be the icing on the cake. I really don't now why...

When creating a back up be able to specify exactly where you want it stored. not just to the hard drive.
